Three years after the release of their debut album ‘Beats Work’ electro band Nobody Beats the Drum are back with their 2nd album ‘Currents’.
For their new album and live-show Nobody Beats the Drum was inspired by the famous inventor and engineer Nikola Tesla. Tesla invented the current (AC) electric power systems, but also bizarre contraptions like the ‘death ray’ and the ‘earthquake machine’. Thus, the new album is more experimental, exciting and layered than before.
‘Currents’ delivers the ‘rave, party, beats, and electro’ we are used to, but also features real drums and songs with vocals.
